Scouts Newsletter – Summer 2020

Another term been and gone!

It really does feel a little bittersweet to be honest.  We had so many plans for this last term, and then the awful Covid-19 hit and threw all the plans out of the window.

We’ve been very impressed with how the Scouts have adapted to the Zoom sessions, they have had us laughing out loud at times!  Some highlights have to be Tom’s amazing whiteboard drawing skills, Steve ‘AKA Molly N’ name change, fooling Carl with name changes, Jamie’s belly flashing choice of clothing.  Not to mention Ellis’s mint sauce pie, Jo Gierl’s awesome toothpaste pies which Harry and Dan got to enjoy.  It’s been a giggle!  We’ve even had a visit from a Goat!

As leader’s we are looking forward to September, where we can hopefully return to some form of face to face scouting.  Fingers crossed!
