FREE Fundraising

There are several ways to help us raise funds at no cost to you:

  • Whenever you buy anything online – whether it is your weekly shop, seasonal sales or next year’s big holiday – you could be raising free donations for 10th Warrington Scout Group through charity cashback sites (see links below)
  • Or maybe you’re having a clear-out at home; we can trade in your old clothes for cash,
  • We will also use this page to show you where you can nominate us for grants or prize draws that are specifically for charity groups.

Many hands make light work.  If you would like to get involved or just have some ideas for how else we can reach our target for our Big Build project, please get in touch

We’re in the customer vote for a Tesco Community Grant. it’s a scheme which gives community projects like ours grants of up to £1,500. Tesco customers will now vote in the Warrington Stores (Tesco Extra on Winwick Road and Tesco Expresses across the town) during October, November and December to decide how much funding we get, so please support us next time you shop at Tesco!

Giving Machine

Sign up with The Giving Machine and select 10th Warrington Scout Group as your chosen charity.  There are thousands of shops and sites ready to make a donation when you buy from them – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, Tesco, Domino’s Pizza, Matalan and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.

You can also raise a few pence each day by simply logging into your Giving Machine account; if you can make this part of your daily routine, it will really add up – over £10 a year!

Easyfundraising

1. Go to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/10thwarringtonscoutgroup and join for free (using this link means we can earn an extra £5 when your purchases generate £5 in donations).
2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping; over 5000 online retailers have signed up.
3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to 10th Warrington Scout Group at no extra cost to you whatsoever!

There is also an App and a reminder tool you can download to make it easier to ensure more of your online purchases count!

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile is a way to shop on Amazon just as you would do normally, but a small percentage of the value of your purchases is given to our Scout group – at no cost to you! How good is that?!

Same products, same prices, same service.

And Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases.

Please click the image below to shop using Amazon Smile and help support our group. It would make a huge difference to all the children in the group! Thank you so much if you are able to!

Donate unused clothes

Like a lot of charities and businesses, we can get money for your old clothes. We have already managed to raise several hundred pounds through this scheme, so it is a really good way to make sure your donation has a direct benefit in the local community. We will even come and collect from you so you don’t even have to step outside your front door!

If you have clothes to donate please email us to arrange collection. We are registered to carry waste and follow a full COVID-19 Risk Assessment and method statement to ensure we continue to do this safely.
