About us

The Group meets at the Scout Hut, on Highfield Avenue in Great Sankey, Warrington. Started in 1927, the group mainly has members from the Great Sankey & Penketh areas of Warrington.

About Us

We offer sessions for children from 4 – 14 across Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We have over 100 members, with 80+ young people and 16 adult volunteers.

We are one of 14 scout groups in Warrington West District. We offer challenge, adventure, and most of all, fun, to all our members.

We believe in helping our young people fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing, and thinking for themselves. We are working to make Scouting available to all, to be youth-led, and we are passionate about what we do.

Leaders

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
