Scouts Newsletter – April 2020
Greetings from lock down!
We hope you aren’t all too bored and fed up with the sight of your house walls. Thank goodness the weather is brightening up so we can all get out into the back garden and enjoy it a little.
Whilst we are on lock down the leaders have been busy trying to come up with new ideas to keep our Scouts (and families) entertained. It’s only a couple of hours a week but as leaders we certainly look forward to them and hope the Scouts do too.
We’ve taken the decision to run our virtual sessions as fun sessions instead of following the lead of other groups who have chosen to do badge work each week. There is still the option to complete badges via Scouting From Home The link for this was sent out last week but if you require it again please let us know.
We’ve decided to set weekly challenges at the end of each Thursday night virtual session. More details below!
