Cubs newsletter – September 2020

Date: 8th Sep 2020 Author: Andrew Bent

Hello all!

Firstly, I’d like to welcome you all back after the summer holidays – I do hope you managed to get some sort of break.

I’m very much looking forward to getting back to face-to-face Cubs activities, and I hope to answer any questions and concerns you may have with this newsletter, although please bear with me as the guidelines are still being changed rather often at the moment, so everything is very much “subject to change”.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
